How would you like to win this?!?!?! A friend was over awhile back and telling me about visiting her mom who lives at the Nursing home. She said it was the holidays but it was so dreary in the rooms there and she was wondering what we could do to put a smile on their faces. So we hatched a plan to make some simple but fun cheery cards to share with them. We further decided to get some Valentine chocolates and put one with each card and take them there for Valentines day for the workers to pass out with the dinner trays. Then we started going ok but ummm how can we make enough?!?!
LOL that my blog reader friends is where you come in!
If you would like to take a chance on winning this great candy which includes: Studio G Clear Stamps VS4895 and Queen & Co Shaped Brads - SWAK & Conversational Hearts (THAT IS 2 BRAND NEW PACKS!) and Lil Davis Designs Outlined Chipboard letters in Bubblegum Pink ETA: $15 Gift Certificate from FireCracker Designs by Pamela! WOWZER you can pick whatever stamping stuff you want how cool is that! ETA: Some ribbon from my private stash - you all know I love to use ribbon! some Heidi Swapp Puffy Floral Centers some Dual Tip markers from Fiskars Bo-Bunny Bodacious Brads - they are YUMMY! check them out in the picture. as well as a card of thanks from me! maybe more goodies will be tacked on as I am out and about :) You never know!
All you have to do to get a chance is send at least one card that I can add to the stash we are taking to deliver to the Nursing Home. It can be a Valentine Card or just a Cheery Card! If you can stamp a sentiment inside or write something that would be great - we know they don't know us and you don't know them but it is just a bit of cheer for some folks who don't get it much. Even if it is a Happy Valentines Day, Happy Day, Wishing You Well, Sending you some Cheer, Happy Everything or whatever you can think of...You don't have to send envies either to go with them just pop it in the mail in one to me and I will take them all to the Nursing Home together.
Every card is one entry into the drawing! You can earn an additional entry by posting a note on your blog about the candy offer, this is for an additional entry but you must also send a card! Don't forget to provide the link in a comment so I can check it out!
I will put all the envies that you sent them in into a bag and have my dd draw one out on February 6th. So make sure your return address is on there so I know where to send the prize! That will be the winner! Make sure you send them in time to get here!
Here is a card from an older set of stamps, SU. We hve 3 loveable, goofy, bad, spoiled, and always glad to see us - American pitbulls. They are unlike the fierce dogs you might have seen on tv. I'm creating today.... more to come.
I'm a mom of 2 wonderful girls, and wife to a sometimes DH. I work at a school. I Love to be creative! I have painted murals, canvases, chairs, and windows found on the side of the road. I fell in love with stamping several years ago! I enjoy challenging myself to try different techniques. My mom tells everyone that I'm an artist, some days I believe it.
